🔼 The Lone Senior. Hollie Farmer is Boise State softball's only senior, and the first four-year player recruited and signed by head coach Justin Shults. Farmer's journey started on a baseball field with her dad pitching to her brother, where she earned extra allowance money catching balls. Today, she’s a two-year starter at third base with 116 career games under her belt. Here’s what’s next on her journey.

🔼 New Opportunities. Jabril Frazier has been elevated to run game coordinator while continuing as EDGE coach, Boise State head coach Spencer Danielson announced Thursday. Frazier has been part of five Boise State conference championships, including two as a player (2014, 2017) and three as a coach (2022-24). Named to 247Sports' 30Under30 coaching list in August, he helped lead a defense last season that ranked third in the Mountain West in total defense and forced 23 turnovers.

🔼 Collecting Hardware. Boise State went three for four in Mountain West postseason awards, with Preston Ferrante (Rocket League Player of the Year), Eric Labastida (Super Smash Bros. Player of the Year), and coach Payton Wilkin (Rocket League Coach of the Year) all taking home hardware.

Ferrante is a two-time Mountain West champion, while Labastida led the Smash squad from winless in the MW in 2024-25 to a championship game appearance against San Jose State in 2025. Wilkin, a Boise native, earned his third conference coaching honor.

The Broncos have captured 15 Mountain West championships over the past eight years. Valorant, League of Legends, and Overwatch seasons begin in the spring.

🔼 Game Day. It’s Game Day for Boise State men’s hoops! The Broncos (9-8, 1-5) are set to take on Colorado State (11-6, 2-4) at The X at 8:30 p.m. MT. The game is set to air on FS1. Full preview here.

🔼 A Different Kind of Field. Boise State football’s Tayo Omotinugbon is taking his talents to a different kind of field. Omotinugbon will participate in the throws with Boise State track & field.

🔼 Back At It. Boise State track and field is back from the holiday break and ready to hit the ground running at the Nevada Invitational in Reno. 28 athletes will compete in 20 events for the Broncos between Jan. 16-17. Full preview here.
