🔼 Triple OT. Boise State men’s hoops dropped a heartbreaker in triple OT against San Diego State on Saturday afternoon. The Broncos, who are now 9-5 on the season and 1-2 in conference play, had five players finish in double figures with Javan Buchanan leading the way with a game-high 29 points. Andrew Meadow finished with 25 points, while Drew Fielder and Dylan Andrews each added 16. Aginaldo Neto closed out the double-digit scoring with 13 off the bench.
The Broncos will now kick off a two-game homestand, taking on Grand Canyon on Jan. 7 and Utah State on Jan. 10.

🔼 On to the Next. Boise State women’s basketball got double-doubles from Libby Hutton and Tatum Thompson on Saturday afternoon as the Broncos fell to Grand Canyon, 87-76. Hutton finished with 13 points and 11 boards, while Thompson tallied 19 points and 13 rebounds, and Dani Bayes led all Broncos with 23 points. Bayes crossed the 1,000-point milestone in the effort with 1,002 career points. Boise State is back at it on Jan. 7 at 6:30 p.m. MT against Air Force on the road.
