Good Morning, Bronco Nation! Maddux Madsen is having an incredible start to the season. As Jay Tust notes, Madsen is the first Bronco QB to throw for at least 275 yards in three-consecutive games since Brett Rypien in 2018.

🔼  Man of the Year. Boise State linebacker Marco Notarainni was named to the Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year Watch List. Notarainni is one of 67 players nationwide to earn recognition. The award is given each year to the FBS player who shows exceptional courage, integrity, and sportsmanship on and off the field.

🔼 Game Week Ready. Boise State volleyball will be back on the court this week, first taking on Fresno State at home on Thursday, Oct. 2 at 6 p.m., and then traveling to Utah State on Saturday, Oct. 4 at 1 p.m. Here’s your full preview for both matches as the Broncos (10-3, 2-0 MW) look to continue their hot start to conference play.

🔼 On The Greens. Boise State men’s golf closed out the Mark Simpson Invitational yesterday, finishing the tournament six under par and in 12th place. Cole Rueck closed it out with his third-straight top-10 finish to start the season, tying for ninth overall, while Reese Knox tallied his second-consecutive top-25 placement.

🔼  Strong Finish. Boise State women’s golf posted a second-place finish at the Molly Collegiate Invitational yesterday, just three strokes back from first place. Leia Chung and Macee Greenwood led the way for the team, with both placing in the top 10 for the tournament. Chung finished tied for seventh, while Greenwood landed at ninth. It’s the eighth career top-10 finish for Chung, while this is the first time that Greenwood has ended a tournament with a top-10 placement.

🔼 Mark Your Calendars. The fall schedule is in for Boise State beach volleyball! The squad will kick off the season this weekend at the Alki Avca Qualifier in Seattle, Washington from October 4-5. See the full schedule release here.
