📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Game Threads. Boise State men’s hoops will take to the hardwood tonight against Idaho in an exhibition game. Tip off is scheduled for 7 p.m. MT from Idaho Central Arena. You can listen to the game here, or tune in locally to watch on KTVB 7.1.

🔼 Five-Set Thriller. Boise State volleyball secured an electric five-set win at home over San Jose State last night! The Broncos took the first two sets, then the Spartans won sets three and four before Boise State came roaring back to claim the decisive fifth set.

Next up, the Broncos will host Utah State on Saturday, Oct. 18, at 5:30 p.m. See you there!

🔼 Come From Behind. Boise State soccer used two goals in the final 10 minutes of the game last night to come from behind and stun San Diego State on the road! Jillian Anderson scored in the 82nd minute, then again in the 89th minute to deliver the 2-1 win for the Broncos. San Jose Diego opened the scoring in the first period, then held the Broncos scoreless until Anderson broke through twice. Goalie Ava de Leest added five saves in the win.

Boise State will next travel to New Mexico for a Sunday afternoon match.

🔼 Day Two. Boise State men’s tennis had an epic day on the court at the ITA Mountain Region Championships, posting 10 main draw wins. Filip Soderqvist and Stewart Aronson set the tone for the day with a doubles win over the tournament’s No. 1 seed. Julius Seifert, Lukas Velik, Carson Baker, Aronson, Avery Tallakson, Soderqvist, and Adam Duda all nabbed singles wins. The squad will be back at it today!

🔼 From Boise to Barcelona. Two Boise State student-athletes took advantage of the university’s study abroad program and immersed themselves in life in Barcelona. Read more about what that journey meant to them.

🔼 Week 8. Boise State is set for a rematch of last season’s Mountain West Conference Championship game with UNLV on Saturday afternoon at Albertsons Stadium. The Broncos bring a 15-game home winning streak and an 11-3 all time advantage over UNLV into the contest. Kickoff is slated for 1:30 p.m. MT, and the game will air nationally on FS1. We’ve got everything you need to know ahead of the game here.

🔼 On The Road. Boise State cross country is splitting up this weekend, as the team competes in the Princeton Fall Classic in New Jersey today and the George Oja Invitational in Oregon tomorrow. The Princeton Fall Classic will feature 31 teams in the men’s field, including a handful of teams from the east coast that the Broncos don’t often compete against. The women’s field in New Jersey will feature 26 schools.

🔼 Academic Excellence. Boise State student-athletes are crushing it on and off the field! 14 student-athletes earned 1A FAR* Academic Excellence Awards across women’s basketball, men’s basketball, cross country, football, soccer, men’s tennis, women’s track and field, and volleyball. The award recognizes outstanding accomplishments in the classroom, all while competing at the highest level in college sports.
