Good Morning, Bronco Nation!

What else is mixed into today’s edition of Good Morning, Bronco Nation?

✨ National Spotlight
🏈 Broncos in the NFL
🔹 And so much more!

🔼 B1 Feature: A Servant’s Heart. Spencer Danielson says he’s never once asked his players to tie charity to their performance, and yet the Broncos keep doing it on their own. Jason Steele is running a canned food drive for the Idaho Foodbank ahead of Thanksgiving, punter Oscar Doyle pays out to St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital for every punt he pins inside the 20 after watching two young cousins go through chemo, and Ben Ford and Matt Wagner are funneling wins, catches, and touchdowns into Ronald McDonald House Idaho. Read more about what inspires them to give back.

🔼 National Spotlight. Campbell Wilson has landed on TopDrawerSoccer’s Women’s Midseason Top 100 Freshmen list, slotting in ninth nationally after piling up 29 points, the most of any freshman in the country. The Meridian native entered Thursday night’s game leading Boise State with 11 goals and seven assists and sits second in program history for points by a freshman in a season.

🔼 Clean Sheet on the Road. Ava de Leest turned in four saves to blank Colorado State in a scoreless draw last night, her ninth shutout of the season and 15th of her career, the latter good for sole possession of fifth in Boise State history. The Broncos keep their perfect mark against the Rams intact at 8-0-5 and now sit tied with Utah State atop the Pac-12 standings with 13 points.

🔼 Business in Three. Boise State volleyball swept Utah State 25-21, 25-17, 25-21 behind a .244 team hitting percentage that nearly doubled the Aggies’ .133 mark. Sydney Dreves was nearly unstoppable with 12 kills on just one error for a .478 clip, adding 10 digs, while Azlynn Tittmann chipped in 11 kills and Kendall Hastings hit .353 with six kills and three blocks.

🔼 Qualifier Stakes. Boise State men’s tennis heads to Spokane for the first-ever Pac-12 Fall Qualifier this weekend, where a title in either singles or doubles punches a ticket to the NCAA Conference Masters. Arsene Pougault and Avery Tallakson represent the Broncos, pairing up in doubles and competing in singles, with Pougault coming off four wins at the ITA Mountain Regional Championships and Tallakson making his season debut. Gonzaga, San Diego State, and Utah State round out the field, and all matches will be streamed.

🔼 Path to Rome. Boise State women’s tennis competes in the Pac-12 Fall Qualifiers this weekend, the program’s first event under the conference banner, with Allison Isaacs and Tereza Polakova in the singles draw and Polakova pairing with Paula Schaefer in doubles. Winners of either bracket advance to the ITA Conference Masters Championships in Rome, Georgia, Nov. 5-8, where a deep run can lead to the NCAA Championships. Isaacs and Polakova share the team lead with nine singles wins apiece this fall.

🔼 Broncos in the NFL. Six former Boise State players and one head coach take the field in Week Seven, starting at 7:30 a.m. MT on Sunday when Kellen Moore’s Saints meet the Steelers in France. Kage Casey and JL Skinner kick off the afternoon with Denver at Arizona, Ashton Jeanty and Ahmed Hassanein both play 2:25 p.m. MT home games, and George Holani and DeMarcus Lawrence close things out as Seattle hosts Kansas City on Sunday Night Football. Jeanty enters the week as one of only two players in the league with 250-plus yards both rushing and receiving.

Campbell Wilson’s 29 points rank second among Boise State freshmen all-time. Who holds the record?
