Good Morning, Bronco Nation!

👻 Boise State turns Halloween into a full experience on Saturday when Texas State visits for the inaugural The Blue After Dark game, with an 8 p.m. kickoff and fans encouraged to wear black. Tailgate lots open at noon for a trunk-or-treat celebration with advance registration closing tomorrow at 4 p.m. MT. At halftime, the Keith Stein Blue Thunder Marching Band and Spirit Squad perform with new lighting elements before the Kellen Moore bronze statue is unveiled on The Blue.

🔼 Freshman Standing Out. Rasean Jones earned Pac-12 Freshman of the Week after a six-catch, 78-yard afternoon in Boise State’s 31-10 win at Washington State, moving the chains on four of those grabs. The Oregon native leads the Broncos with 29 receptions for 437 yards and ranks third among all FBS freshmen at 72.8 receiving yards per game. It’s the first career honor for Jones and the third weekly award of the season for Boise State.

🔼 First Time in the Pac-12. Boise State cross country is set to compete in the Pac-12 Championships, hosting the conference showdown on Friday. If you’re interested in coming out to support the Broncos, check out this guide for more info.

Berkeley Neilson and Reagan Rothley led the way at 5-1 after sweeping pool play and taking fifth in the gold division, while Susannah Barnett and Nora Hayd also went unbeaten in pool play, and Charlee Ellena and Kloe Fulenwider claimed the bronze bracket. The Broncos take a weekend off before splitting up for the AVCA National Pairs Championship in Huntsville and the Grand Canyon Pairs Tournament in Phoenix on Nov. 6-8.
