🔼 Dominating Defender. Boise State cornerback Jeremiah Earby is the Old Trapper Mountain West Defensive Player of the Week! Earby posted two interceptions and four solo tackles as the Broncos beat Nevada, 24-3, on Friday night. Earby allowed just four catches for 28 yards to Nevada receivers. It’s the first conference honor of Earby’s career!

🔼 In Net. Freshman goalie Ava de Leest earned Mountain West Defensive Player of the Week honors after posting her fifth shutout of the season in Boise State’s 1-0 win over Grand Canyon last week. It’s the second weekly honor of de Leest’s young career. Next up for Boise State? The Broncos host Utah State on Thursday with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. MT.

🔼 Costume Contest. And speaking of Boise State soccer’s next game, it’s time to celebrate Halloween with the Broncos! Boise State will host a costume contest at Boas on Thursday evening. All adults who sign up in advance and wear a costume will get free admission, and all kids who show up in costume will get in for free. More info here.

🔼 On to the Next. Ava Anderson and Addison Wolden earned Boise State an additional bid to the AVCA National Pairs Championship! The beach volleyball duo will now send two pairs to the three-day event in Huntsville, Ala., from Nov. 7-9. Anderson and Wolden earned the bid after a strong performance at the Surf City Collegiate Challenge over the weekend.
