🔼 Rivalry Returns. Boise State and Fresno State will clash on the gridiron on Saturday, Nov. 1, at 1:30 p.m. MT inside Albertsons Stadium. The game will air nationally on FS1, while Bob Behler and Pete Cavender have the call on the Bronco Radio Network. Boise State holds the all-time advantage over the Bulldogs with a 17-9 record. The Broncos bring an undefeated (4-0) mark in Mountain West play and a 16-game home winning streak into Saturday’s contest. Full preview here.

🔼 Regular Season Finale. After a scoreless first half, the Broncos’ offense exploded in the second as Boise State soccer picked up a 3-0 win over Utah State at home last night. Sophie Schmautz opened the scoring for the Broncos in the 56th minute, while Jillian Anderson followed up with a goal 12 minutes later to give Boise State a 2-0 lead. Kayla Soderstrom rounded out the scoring with a goal in the 84 minute to seal the 3-0 win. The Mountain West Championship is up next!

🔼 Heart Over Hurt. Talent and physical ability aren’t the only characteristics that matter for an athlete, and one trait in particular is often overlooked: selflessness. For Boise State men’s basketball’s Javan Buchanan, selflessness came down to putting the team before himself in his first season as a Bronco. While Buchanan shot over 50 percent from the floor, averaged 9.6 points and 3.8 rebounds per game, and earned Mountain West Sixth Man of the Year, he was playing with a compromised back and hip. 🔼 Hold Serve. Boise State women’s tennis will open play today at the Dennis Rizza Classic in Palos Verdes, California. Stella Beldiman, Allison Isaacs, Lorelyz Marruffo, Ella Piron, Tereza Polakova, Paula Schaefer, and Masa Viriant will suit up for the Broncos during the three-day tournament.

🔼 On the Road. Boise State volleyball fell 3-0 on the road to UNLV last night. Jazmine Smith and Sydney Dreves led the way for the Broncos with eight kills, while Layla Smith added six. Smith also led Boise State with three blocks, while Lilli Etter logged a team-high 17 assists in the match. The Broncos are at San Diego State on Saturday at 1 p.m. MT.
