📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Pac-12 Debut Delivered. Boise State opened conference play with a statement, jumping on Utah State for the game's first 21 points and cruising to a 37-18 win on The Blue. Maddux Madsen was surgical, going 17-of-21 for 244 yards and two touchdowns, while Dylan Riley found the end zone twice on the ground. Jake Ripp swung the half with a 21-yard pick-six off a tipped ball, and the defense piled up six sacks, the most in a single game since the 2024 Mountain West Championship. The Broncos, ranked No. 23 in the latest AP Poll, head to Fresno State on Saturday for an 8:30 p.m. MT kick on The CW.

🔼 Eight Straight. Boise State soccer ran its winning streak to eight with a 3-0 blanking of Gonzaga, the longest run in program history. All three goals came after halftime, with Madie Donovan opening the scoring in the 56th and Mia Lane burying two late. Ava de Leest earned her seventh shutout of the season, most in the Pac-12. It was also Jim Thomas' 150th career win at Boise State. The Broncos head to Fresno State on Thursday.

🔼 First Conference Sweep. Texas State opened the match with four straight service aces, and it didn't matter as Boise State volleyball swept the Bobcats 3-0 for its first Pac-12 sweep of the season, holding them to a .157 hitting percentage and leading in kills, blocks, assists, and digs. Sydney Dreves and Azlynn Tittmann each posted 10 kills, with Dreves adding 11 digs for her third double-double of the year. Kendall Hastings hit .500 on eight kills with a team-high five blocks. The Broncos hit the road next for Utah State on Oct. 8 and Fresno State on Oct. 10.

🔼 Pac-12 Slate Set. Boise State women's basketball has its first Pac-12 schedule, a 16-game conference run that opens Jan. 6 at Texas State and closes March 6 at home against Fresno State. Eight of those games are at ExtraMile Arena, part of 19 total home dates on the season. The slate brings a mix of familiar and new: Gordy Presnell hasn't faced Gonzaga since taking over in 2005, Texas State is an entirely new opponent in program history, and Washington State becomes a conference foe for the first time since the NWBL days. The Pac-12 Tournament runs March 9-13 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

🔼 Season-Low Round. Leia Chung opened the Ron Moore Intercollegiate with a 5-under 67, her best round of the season and a tie for the sixth-best round in Boise State history. The fifth-year finished at 1-under 215 to tie for 13th and lead the Broncos, who placed 14th as a team. Chung now owns four of the top 10 single-round scores in program history and picked up her 23rd career top-25 finish, tying Genevieve Ling for second all-time. Callia Ward closed with an even-par 72 to tie for 38th. Boise State heads to the Jim West Challenge in San Marcos on Oct. 18-19.

🔼 Title Defense In Corvallis. Boise State men's golf returns to the Oregon State Invitational as defending champions, teeing off today at the par-71 Trysting Tree Golf Club. The Broncos beat 13 teams a year ago en route to the team title, with four players finishing inside the top 25. The 12-team field plays 54 holes over two days, opening with 36 holes of continuous play. Newcomer Trevor Garus leads Boise State with two top-25 finishes in three fall events, and Luke Cushman has placed in the top 25 in both of his previous trips to this tournament.

🔼 Closing Strong. Boise State's pair at the Battle in the Bay Classic saved its best for the final day, with Stewart Aronson and Izan Orgiles each picking up a singles win to close out the tournament. Aronson topped Arizona State's Simon Caldwell in his season debut, while Orgiles knocked off Cal's Alexander Aney for his sixth win of the year. The duo went 3-2 in singles overall against a field that included Duke, TCU, Arizona, and Stanford. The Broncos head to Provo next for the ITA Mountain Regional Championships, Oct. 6-10.

🔼 Mic’d Up. What’s it like to go to practice with Coach Burns?

🔼 Rock Comes To Boise. Greta Van Fleet brings the Into The Beginning Tour to ExtraMile Arena on Saturday, March 27, 2027, with The Kooks and Sana Sana Musica opening. The GRAMMY-winning Michigan band's 59-city run supports their new album, Palace for the People, out Friday, Oct. 9. Every ticket is being sold at face value plus fees through primary sellers, with no platinum tickets. The North American general on-sale begins Thursday, Oct. 15, at 10 a.m. local, with fan presales starting Oct. 13. Sign up at GretaVanFleet.com.
