Good Morning, Boise State 11/10: The Century Mark
Boise State men's basketball bounces back!
Good Morning, Bronco Nation! Boise State men’s basketball bounced back in a big way on Saturday afternoon, dropping 101 points en route to a win over Utah Valley.

Drew Fielder led the way for the Broncos as he tied his career high with 20 points, while Spencer Ahrens scored in double digits for the second-straight game. Andrew Meadow added 18 points and three steals in the effort. Boise State never trailed in the game, leading by as many as 26 points.
“That’s more like it, no doubt,” head coach Leon Rice said after the game.
Boise State will be back at it against UTRGV at ExtraMile Arena on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. MT.

🔼 Sunday Win. Boise State women’s hoops picked up a Sunday afternoon win, downing San Francisco, 83-68, at ExtraMile Arena. Four Broncos scored in double digits, with Natalie Pasco leading the way with 22 points. Dani Bayes added 20, Tatum Thompson posted 17, and Mya Hansen contributed 12 en route to the win. Libby Hutton finished with nine rebounds. The Broncos never trailed during the game and have won their last 17 nonconference home games.
Next up? Boise State hosts UC Davis on Friday, Nov. 14, at 6:30 p.m. MT.

🔼 A Season Ends. Boise State soccer’s run through the Mountain West Women’s Soccer Championship ended in the MW Final on Saturday night. The Broncos battled back from a 2-0 deficit to end regulation knotted at two before ultimately falling, 4-2, in penalty kicks. Olivia Collins and Kayla Soderstrom netted regulation goals for the Broncos. Boise State finished the season with just three losses, tied for the fewest in school single-season history.

🔼 Defensive Showstopper. 14 team blocks and Bre Mitchell’s 18 digs helped catapult Boise State volleyball to a four-set victory over Colorado State at home on Saturday. Layla Smith and Eliza Sharp each added 12 kills, with Sharp hitting .556 on her 18 swings. Arianna Bilby added 11 kills and three blocks as three Broncos finished in double-figure kills. Boise State will hit the road to play at San Jose State on Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. MT.

🔼 Master Class. Boise State men’s tennis’ Avery Tallakson made an appearance in the singles quarterfinals at the ITA Conference Masters. Tallakson defeated Montana’s Tom Bittner in the opening round before a straight-set win over the No. 88-ranked player in the nation. Tallakson fell in the quarterfinals to the tournament’s fourth-seeded player. In the doubles draw, Tallakson and Carson Baker fell in the round of 32, then lost a close match in the consolation bracket. Boise State men’s tennis has now completed its fall slate.

🔼 Holding Serve. Tereza Polakova finished play at the ITA Sectional Championships on Friday evening. Despite opening the tournament with a loss, Polakova posted a straight-set win in the consolation draw before falling in the next match. Polakova now has a 12-5 overall singles record with Boise State. The team is off to Tucson from Nov. 14-16 for the Wildcat Invitational.
