🔼 Sweep To Semis. Boise State volleyball swept Grand Canyon in the first round of the Mountain West Championship! The Broncos had seven service aces in the win. They’ll play Utah State in the semifinals tomorrow at 2 p.m. on the Mountain West Network.

🔼 Holiday Hoops. Boise State women’s basketball is spending the holiday week in the U.S. Virgin Islands. They’ll play North Dakota today at 1 p.m. on ESPN+ at Paradise Jam.

🔼  NFL Broncos. Boise State will be represented by 11 former Broncos in Week 13 of the NFL! All 11 will be in action on Sunday, with three matchups pitting Broncos against each other.

• Kellen Moore leads New Orleans into Miami to play Cedrick Wilson Jr. and the Dolphins.

• Ashton Jeanty and the Las Vegas Raiders will play against Scott Matlock and the Los Angeles Chargers.

• John Bates, Jeremy McNichols and the Washington Commanders host JL Skinner and the Denver Broncos.

🔼 Backyard Oasis. Boise State beach volleyball coach Alex Venardos has significantly contributed to the sport’s growth in Boise, Idaho. He built a regulation beach volleyball court in his backyard, providing a central location for training and community gatherings. Venardos’s efforts have led to the establishment of Idaho Beach, the state’s only junior and adult beach volleyball club, and have helped develop junior athletes into Division I players.
