Good Morning, Boise State 12/15: To Conference Play

Boise State men’s hoops put an exclamation point on its final nonconference game, knocking off Saint Mary’s, 68-67, in a thriller that came down to the game’s waning seconds. Drew Fielder and Javan Buchanan finished in double figures for the Broncos, who are now 11-5 all-time against Saint Mary’s.

Mountain West play gets started for Boise State on Saturday, Dec. 20, against Nevada on the road at 8 p.m. MT.

🔼 Finishing First. Boise State track and field posted nine first-place finishes at the Spokane Indoor Challenge over the weekend. Freshman Aayden Simmons took the top spot in two events: the men’s high jump and the triple jump. As a whole, the Broncos finished with 17 personal bests and 26 top-three finishes, with 10 freshmen setting collegiate bests.

🔼 To Conference Play. Boise State women’s hoops is on to conference play after downing Southern Utah, 81-66, on Saturday at ExtraMile Arena. Tatum Thompson led all scorers with 23 points, while Natalie Pasco added 21 and Dani Bayes tallied 17. Boise State never trailed in the game as the Broncos climbed to 9-2 on the season and won its 22nd straight nonconference home game. Mountain West play begins for Boise State on Dec. 17 at 7 p.m. MT against New Mexico.

🔼 Season Concludes. Boise State football wrapped up its 2025 season at the Bucked Up LA Bowl Hosted by Gronk on Saturday night. The Broncos fell to Washington, 38-10. Marco Notarainni finished with a team-high nine tackles, while Sterling Lane II posted two sacks. Ty Benefield and Zion Washington each added seven tackles. Offensively, Chris Marshall hauled in five catches for 97 yards and Latrell Caples added five catches for 70 yards.
