🔼 Conference Honors. Boise State freshman Charley Duran snagged Mountain West Co-Freshman of the Week honors on Monday after a stellar season-opening road trip. The Placentia, California native went 2-0 with a 0.66 ERA over 10 2/3 innings, highlighted by three shutout relief innings against No. 14 Mississippi to earn her first collegiate win. Duran also shined at Cal State Fullerton, pitching four-plus innings in her first collegiate start before reentering in the seventh to close out an extra-innings victory with six outs.

🔼 Sharp Shooting. Dylan Andrews earned Mountain West Player of the Week honors on Monday after averaging 29.0 points across wins over Nevada and New Mexico. The Broncos guard shot 61.5 percent from the field and 46.7 percent from three in the two victories, including a career-high 33 points at The Pit and a go-ahead overtime three against Nevada, where he also scored his 1,000th career point. Andrews and Drew Fielder are the first Boise State teammates to win the weekly award in the same season since Chandler Hutchison and Paris Austin in 2016-17.

🔼 Welcome Home. Boise State hired Kenny Macklin as director of football operations this week after he spent four seasons at Sacramento State. Macklin most recently served as the Hornets' chief of staff, where he managed scheduling, travel, and the football support staff while overseeing hiring and onboarding of all football personnel. He previously held roles as director of operations and assistant director of operations with Sacramento State, and brings experience managing budgets, travel logistics, and team meals to his new post on the Blue.
