🔼 Old Normal. Boise State distance runner Christian Graham was diagnosed with B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma while home in Edinburgh, Scotland, before what was supposed to be his final season. After three grueling months of chemotherapy, the graduate student refused to accept a "new normal" and instead returned to running, even when he could barely jog for a minute. By fall, Graham was back in a Bronco uniform, running a career-best 8K at Notre Dame's Joe Piane Invitational and helping Boise State finish second at the MW Championships. He also raised over $4,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust by finishing second in the Edinburgh Half Marathon. Now chasing lifetime-best marks in indoor track, Graham earned Boise State's inaugural Hammer of Resilience award. His message to others fighting the same battle: "You don't need a new normal. You can have your old normal."

🔼 Going Pro. Mark your calendars: Boise State football’s Pro Day is set for Tuesday, March 24, starting at 10 a.m. at the Bleymaier Football Center and Caven-Williams Sports Complex. Fifteen Broncos from the 2025 roster are slated to work out for NFL scouts, including NFL Combine invitee Kage Casey, wide receiver Latrell Caples, and running back Malik Sherrod. Three former Boise State players and two Idaho State athletes will also participate. Testing kicks off indoors with measurements, vertical jump, and bench press before moving to the field for 40s, shuttles, and position drills.

🔼 Sandy Spikes. The Boise State beach volleyball team will open its 2026 season at the Beach Burrow Bash in Boca Raton this weekend with four matches across Friday and Saturday. It's the program's first-ever trip to Florida. New head coach Alex Venardos makes his debut after taking over the program this summer. Boise State is coming off a landmark 2025 that included conference regular season and tournament titles and the program's first NCAA Tournament berth. Six all-conference returners are back, led by SLC Newcomer of the Year Allyson Alden, who's also launched a "Block Party" fundraiser pledging donations for every ace and block she records this season.

🔼 Off The Blue. Boise State eSports’ Austin Julian joins Off The Blue to talk about his history in eSports and how the season is going so far in 2026 for the Broncos.

🔼 What’s Next. Boise State softball (6-6) fell to No. 15 Arizona 11-2 in a rain-delayed, run-rule shortened game in Saratoga, Calif, yesterday. Boise State grabbed a brief 2-1 lead in the first inning after drawing four straight walks and a Hollie Farmer infield single, but the Wildcats tallied six in the second and pulled away. Skylar Stroh picked up her team-leading ninth RBI, and Olivia Bauer provided a bright spot with 2.1 innings of shutout relief. The Broncos are 1-1 against Top 15 teams this season and continue tournament play today against Santa Clara (noon MT) before facing No. 2 Texas and No. 10 Stanford this weekend.
