🔼 Keep Rolling. Boise State women’s basketball stayed hot with a 71-48 win over San Jose State on Saturday. Tatum Thompson was the leading scorer for the Broncos with 25 points and seven rebounds, while Dani Bayes added 12 points and Mya Hansen tallied eight. The Broncos picked up their 13th conference win for the first time since 2019-20. Up next: Boise State hosts San Diego State on Feb. 25 at 6:30 p.m. MT.

🔼 Season Sweep. Boise State men’s hoops swept the season series over San Jose State with an 84-69 win on Saturday at The X. Drew Fielder’s team-high 20 points paved the way for the Broncos, while Andrew Meadow added 16 points, Dylan Andrews posted 12, and Javan Buchanan tallied 11. The Broncos will host Wyoming tomorrow night at 7 p.m. MT.

🔼 Developing Champions. Don’t miss what NFL star Ashton Jeanty had to say about his time as a Bronco!

🔼 On Court. Boise State men’s tennis split a doubleheader in Phoenix this weekend, falling 5-2 to Mountain West rival Grand Canyon before bouncing back with a dominant 7-0 sweep of Lipscomb. Against GCU, Avery Tallakson and Carson Baker each won in singles but the Broncos couldn't overcome three tight three-set losses. The team responded emphatically, blanking Lipscomb with all six singles players earning wins. Baker now has 16 singles victories on the season and is a perfect 4-0 at the No. 4 spot. Up next: the Arizona State Diablo Collegiate Invitational (Feb. 27).

🔼 Split Them. Boise State softball was one strike away from beating No. 10 Stanford for the second straight day, but the Cardinal scored three times with two outs in the bottom of the seventh to steal a 3-2 walk-off win Sunday. Boise State's pitching trio of Olivia Bauer, Loula-Rae McNamara, and Julianne Rose held Stanford hitless into the sixth inning. Mya Flindt broke up the no-hit bid with a single in the seventh, the second straight game she's done that, and Marissa Gonzalez followed with an RBI double to put the Broncos up 2-0. Boise State (8-8) heads to Fayetteville next for the Wooo Pig Classic, opening against Kansas on Friday.

🔼 Sandy Start. Boise State beach volleyball opened the season strong, going 3-1 at the Beach Burrow Bash in Boca Raton, knocking off FIU and Coastal Carolina along with Palm Beach Atlantic. The only loss came to No. 15 host FAU. The No. 2 court duo of Allyson Alden and newcomer Serena van der Made was the weekend's standout, going a perfect 4-0 and dropping just one set total. On the top court, Ava Anderson and Addison Wolden won three straight three-set thrillers and moved into a tie for fifth in program history with 23 career wins as a pair. New head coach Alex Venardos picked up his first career victory in the opener against FIU. Next up: the Battle of LA (Feb. 27-28), featuring No. 1 UCLA, No. 3 Cal Poly, and No. 7 LMU.

🔼 Best of the Season. Boise State gymnastics posted a season-high 49.050 on bars in Friday's dual at Utah State, but fell 196.325-194.950 as the Aggies turned in their best score of the year. Mahleea Werline led the bars charge with a season-best 9.850, while Carly Buell, Noelle Ball, and Kristina Shchennikova all hit 9.825, the first time BSU has had four gymnasts score 9.825+ on bars since last year's MW Championships. Freshman Miraya Nero won the all-around, and fellow freshman Sydnie Whipple added a career-best 9.800 on beam. Next up: a quad meet at San Jose State on March 1 with Arizona State and Sacramento State.

🔼 Tee Off. The spring season tees off today at the Lake Las Vegas Invitational for Boise State men’s golf! The Broncos return to an event where they finished ninth a year ago, led by senior Cole Rueck, who has 14 career top-10 finishes, which is tied for the third most in program history. Boise State had a strong fall, going 49-31-2 with a tournament win at the Oregon State Invitational and top-six finishes in three of five events.
