Good Morning, Bronco Nation! Overcoming a 10-point, first-half deficit, Boise State MBB narrowly defeated Nevada, 70-69, on Saturday afternoon—the squad’s fourth dub on the road this season.
 
Andrew Meadow led the way, scoring a career-high 24 points. He made a career-best eight field goals and added four rebounds and two steals in the win. Javan Buchanan registered 17 points on 7-of-9 shooting and tied his career high with three steals.

Kicker Colton Boomer (UCF; All-Big 12 Honorable Mention - 2023) and defensive back Jaden Mickey (Notre Dame; former four-star recruit out of high school according to 247Sports, Rivals, On3 and ESPN) will join the Broncos as redshirt juniors. 🔼 Bronco Blip. Boise State men's tennis closed a busy week Sunday morning, falling 7-0 at 24th-ranked Princeton. The loss moved the 32nd-ranked Broncos to 7-3 overall.
 
Carson Baker and Jett Middleton led the Broncos in doubles, recording the lone victory, 6-4, on court one over 45th-ranked Paul Inchauspe and Filippos Astreinidis.

🔼 “Knight’s” Out in Lyman Classic. Leah McAnally and Sophia Knight each recorded four hits and Boise State defeated San Diego 10-4 at the Lyman Classic, Sunday.

With the victory, the Broncos (12-3) completed a 5-0 weekend and stretched their winning streak to seven.

Knight extended her hitting streak to a school-record 17 games, dating back to last season, with a first-inning single. She eventually scored on an error for a 1-0 lead.

🔼 Vulaj Vault = Very Good. Alyssa Vulaj highlighted the Broncos' performance in Friday’s gymnastics meet against Utah State, as she took home her fourth vault title of the season. Vulaj scored the highest on vault with a 9.825, while Boise State pieced together a 48.850 as a team.

🔼 Everything Counts. Bronco Athletic Association (BAA) ended the 2024 membership year with 8,977 active members, Boise State Athletics has announced. In over three years, the BAA membership has increased nearly 120 percent. With this milestone, the department is aiming to meet the Horsepower Membership Drive goal of 10,000 BAA members by Sept. 1, 2025.
