📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Basketball Royalty. College basketball runs deep in the Few family, and now it runs through Boise State! AJ Few, son of Gonzaga head coach and future Hall of Famer Mark Few, has joined the Broncos' staff as director of player personnel/general manager after spending seven years climbing the ladder at Gonzaga. The lifelong friendship between the Few and Rice families made the fit a natural one, as Leon Rice previously served as an assistant under Mark Few for over a decade. AJ now sits directly next to head coach Leon Rice on the bench, providing real-time game analytics and player personnel expertise. And with both Boise State and Gonzaga joining the Pac-12 next season, a father-son coaching matchup is right around the corner!

🔼 Conference Standout. Senior Boise State men’s golfer Cole Rueck is on fire and the Mountain West has taken notice! Rueck earned MW Golfer of the Week honors for the first time in his career after a dominant performance at the Lake Las Vegas Invitational, where he shot a 200 (-16) to win the individual title outright by four strokes, his eighth career individual championship and second of this season. The Broncos return to action March 9-10 at the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Invitational in Aiken, S.C.

🔼 Senior Day. It’s time to celebrate Senior Day with Boise State women’s basketball tomorrow! Tickets here.

🔼 Bump, Set, Spike. Boise State beach volleyball (3-1) heads to the Battle for LA this weekend to face three top-10 opponents: No. 2 UCLA and No. 3 Cal Poly today, then CSUN and No. 8 Loyola Marymount on Saturday. The Broncos opened 2026 with a strong 3-1 showing at the Beach Burrow Bash, where Allyson Alden and Serena van der Made went 4-0 from the No. 2 court, including a win over No. 15 FAU.

🔼 Up Next. The No. 68 Boise State men’s tennis team is packing its rackets and heading to Tempe, Arizona, for the Arizona State Diablo Collegiate Invitational on Feb. 27-28. Boise State opens play today at noon MT against No. 31 UC Santa Barbara, a team they lead 13-6 in the all-time series. The Broncos will also keep an eye on a couple of milestones: Stewart Aronson and Lukas Velik are each just one singles win away from reaching 15 victories on the season, while freshman Filip Soderqvist and Aronson need just two more doubles wins together to hit that same mark.

🔼 Hold Serve. After a three-week break, No. 59 Boise State women's tennis is back and hitting the road to Spokane on Feb. 28 for a packed day of competition! The Broncos take on Gonzaga at noon MT before turning around to face Eastern Washington at 6 p.m. MT. There's plenty of history on the line; head coach Beck Roghaar is just one win away from breaking the program's all-time record for coaching victories, currently tied with Mark Tichenor at 181.
