🔼 Celebrating National Girls & Women in Sports Day. Boise State Athletics partnered with Maddyn Homes' EmpowHER Play campaign to celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day by featuring three female Bronco student-athletes whose lives have been transformed through competition. Cross country runner Julia Kiesler turned injury adversity into community service, organizing shoe drives that collected over 200 pairs for local youth after being sidelined, while earning Mountain West Freshman of the Year honors in 2023. Gymnast Kylee Hamby returned from missing her entire junior season to anchor the bars lineup as a senior, averaging nearly 9.800 this year after helping Boise State capture back-to-back Mountain West titles. Beach volleyball's Allyson Alden overcame a catastrophic knee injury that sidelined her for two and a half years before earning SLC Newcomer of the Year and helping the Broncos win their first conference tournament championship in 2025.

🔼 Off the Blue. Former Boise State men's basketball star Mikey Thompson, now a BroncoPRO Graduate Assistant, appears on Off the Blue to break down the program's innovative NIL approach, reflect on his time as a player, talk about his family's role in his journey, and much more!

🔼 On the Road. Boise State women's tennis travels to California for matches against Cal Poly (Feb. 6) and Saint Mary's (Feb. 7). Freshman Carla Grignac earned Mountain West Player and Freshman of the Week honors after beating ranked Washington, becoming just the third MW player ever to sweep both awards in one week. The defending Mountain West Tournament champions return six players from their 2025 title team, including junior Zdena Safarova, who ranks sixth all-time in program history with 23 No. 1 singles wins.
