Good Morning, Boise State 3/11: A New Era of College Athletics
Boise State Athletics announced its BroncoPRO staff as it prepares for the upcoming changes in college athletics pending the final approval of the House settlement.
Good Morning, Bronco Nation! Boise State Athletics has announced its BroncoPRO staff as it prepares for the upcoming changes in college athletics pending the final approval of the House settlement. The core NIL group of six team members will focus its vision of driving competitive excellence in the new era of revenue-sharing.
Cody Gougler, currently Boise State's Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Affairs, has been elevated to Deputy AD, External Affairs & BroncoPROChief Administrative Officer and will lead the department in addition to his current responsibilities.

🔼 Left It All On the Court. Boise State women's basketball dropped a hard-fought battle to UNLV, falling 80-70 to the tournament's top seed in the quarterfinal round of the Mountain West Women's Basketball Championship, Monday in the Thomas & Mack Center.
The Broncos (18-15), who led for nearly 30 minutes in the contest, led by five entering the final quarter of play.
Tatum Thompson matched her career-high with 25 points in the loss. Abby Muse recorded a double-double, finishing with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Dani Bayes drilled a trio of 3-pointers to also add on 17 points while matching her career-high with six assists.
Softball Player of the Week ➡️ Sophia Knight
Knight led the Broncos to a 4-0 week with wins over Idaho State, Utah and Montana. She hit .615 with eight hits, including a triple, five runs and four RBIs 🤩

🔼 The Competition is Knight and Day. One look at those stats, and it’s not hard to wonder how Sophia Knight became the MW Softball Player Of the Week.

🔼 A Case of the Mondays. The Boise State softball team closed out the Black and Orange Classic with a 5-2 loss to Washington, Monday.
Both teams were receiving votes in the current NFCA/GoRout Top 25 poll. Boise State (19-6) saw its four-game winning streak snapped.
The Broncos open Mountain West play Friday at Fresno State. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. PT/7 p.m. MT.

🔼 Coach Voigt Drops Some Knowledge. The competition for Boise State BVB this past weekend was stiff, as the squad competed against some of the top teams in the nation. Head coach Allison Voigt looks forward to the upcoming matches having watched her squad go toe-to-toe with the elite.
