🔼 Conference Recognition. Drew Fielder added another accolade to a breakout first season in Boise, earning All-Mountain West Second Team honors as the only Bronco to land on one of the three all-conference teams. Dylan Andrews and Javan Buchanan received honorable mention nods as well. Fielder leads the MW in field goal percentage at 55 percent among qualifiers, has scored 459 points, and posted 10 20-point games. Boise State has now had at least one player on the All-MW Second Team in seven consecutive seasons. The Broncos open the MW Championship today against San Jose State at 9:30 p.m. MT.
🔼 Honorable Mention. Dylan Andrews and Javan Buchanan earned Mountain West Conference Honorable Mentions!

🔼 Turning Heads. Boise State gymnastics’ Sydnie Whipple picked up her first career Mountain West weekly honor after posting a career-high 9.875 on beam in the Broncos' dual at No. 10 California, helping Boise State to a season-best 49.150 on the event and a 195.925 team score. Whipple is the second Bronco freshman honored this season, joining two-time recipient Miraya Nero, marking the first time multiple Boise State freshmen have earned MW Freshman of the Week in the same season. Up next: a busy stretch with Senior Night against Southern Utah on March 13, a trip to No. 10 Stanford on March 15, and the MW Championships at home in ExtraMile Arena on March 21.

🔼 On Deck. Boise State softball opens Mountain West play with a three-game series at Nevada (16-9) beginning Friday at 6 p.m. MT, followed by a nonconference doubleheader at Sacramento State (18-7) on March 17. Boise State enters conference play with a profile strikingly similar to its 2023 MW championship season: 12 wins, three home victories, and a gauntlet schedule featuring wins over No. 14 Mississippi and No. 10 Stanford. Full preview here.
🔼 In the Circle. Boise State softball’s freshmen are crushing it in the circle this season! Charley Duran and Loula-Rae McNamara are the only two freshman pitchers in the country on the same team with four wins and two saves each.

🔼 On Par. Boise State men’s golf wrapped up the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate in South Carolina tied for seventh in the 15-team field with a three-round total of 858 (+18). Cole Rueck once again paced the lineup, carding a two-under 208 to finish T8 individually, highlighted by a final-round 67 that tied for the lowest score of the day. Boise State now heads to the Oregon Duck Invitational on March 23-24.

🔼 Tee Off. Junior Teal Matsueda led Boise State women’s golf, tying for fifth with a three-round 218 (+2), the best finish of her career. Matsueda opened with a one-under 71 and has now carded at least one under-par round in four straight stroke play tournaments. The team finished eighth overall at 902 (+38) and heads to Austin next for the Betsy Rawls Invitational, March 16-17.
