Good Morning, Boise State 3/31: The Crown Jewel of Hoops
In the opening round TODAY, Boise State (24-10) will play George Washington (21-12). Facing off for the first time in program history, with tip off set for 3:30 p.m. MT.
Good Morning, Bronco Nation! The inaugural College Basketball Crown tournament is upon us!
16 teams from seven different NCAA conferences compete in a four-round, single-elimination format. All teams will compete at the MGM Grand Garden and T-Mobile arenas in Las Vegas from today through April 6.
In the opening round TODAY, Boise State (24-10) will play George Washington (21-12). Facing off for the first time in program history, with tip off set for 3:30 p.m. MT.

🔼 Rebels Rout Rundown. Brooklynn Pettis delivered a two-out, two-strike, two-run single in the top of the eighth to lift Boise State softball to a 10-8 victory at UNLV, Saturday. With the victory, the Broncos (25-11, 4-5 MW) completed a three-game sweep of the Rebels (18-17, 2-7).
Makenzie Butt recorded her 15th multi-RBI game, a Boise State freshman record. Butt has 52 RBI, tied for third on Boise State's single-season list. Sophia Knight collected four hits in a game for the fifth time in her career, a Boise State record. Knight's 74 hits are fourth in Bronco single-season history.

🔼 Streak Snappers. The Boise State women’s tennis team dropped only two sets across six matches as it swept No. 55 Nevada and snapped the Wolf Pack's 13-match win streak Sunday afternoon at Appleton Tennis Center.
Boise State has defeated two ranked teams in one season for the second time in the last three years, as the squad also defeated No. 72 Fresno State 5-2 on March 14. The Broncos earned their first conference match sweep since a 4-0 win against Utah State on April 26, 2023.

🔼 Carson ‘N’ Crew’s Conference Dub. Carson Baker's win at No. 3 singles clinched the Boise State men’s tennis team's 5-2 victory over Utah State on Friday in the Broncos' Mountain West opener. The 41st-ranked Broncos improved to 15-4 overall and 1-0 in conference.
John Chin won his 13th singles match of the year, extending his win streak to seven. James Van Herzeele won his 75th career singles match, tying for 17th all-time at Boise State. Carson Baker won his 17th singles match of the year, tying for the team high.

🔼 Majority Rules. The Boise State beach volleyball team finished the weekend 2-1 at the Utah Beach Classic, defeating Oregon and UC Davis and losing to the host school, Utah.
Lily Patock became the fourth Bronco this season and the ninth player in program history to surpass 50 career victories. The junior ended the weekend with a 52-39 career mark and currently has the ninth most wins in program history.
The Broncos maintain a perfect record against Oregon in the all-time series, having won all 19 duals.
