🔼 Midweek W. Drew Fielder stepped off the starting lineup to let senior Dominic Parolin have a moment on Senior Night, then delivered the best game of his career off the bench: 33 points, nine rebounds, and a career-best 16 made free throws (second-most in a single game in program history) to lead Boise State men’s basketball past San Diego State, 86-77, last night at The X. Javan Buchanan added 17 and Dylan Andrews scored 13 as the Broncos led wire-to-wire and shot 52% from the floor. The Broncos are 19-1 when leading at halftime this season. 🔼 Conference Star. Fifth-year Boise State gymnast Blake Pascal claimed her first career conference weekly award, named Mountain West Co-Floor Specialist of the Week after matching her career-high 9.900 to share the floor title in last Sunday's quad meet sweep. Pascal anchored a floor lineup that posted a season-best 49.275, the team's top rotation score on any apparatus this year. The Broncos now have five weekly conference honors spread across three athletes this season, with freshman Miraya Nero earning two and splitting Beam Specialist of the Week honors with Kristina Shchennikova.

Boise State women’s basketball (23-7, 14-5 MW) travels to Las Vegas to face UNLV tonight at 7:30 p.m. MT on Mountain West Network and 670 KBOI, with the No. 2 tournament seed on the line; BSU, UNLV, and Colorado State are all tied for second in the conference standings. 🔼 Dynamic Duo. Boise State men’s tennis’ Carson Baker and Avery Tallakson picked up another ranked win over the weekend, taking down Tulane’s Daniel Phillips and Lance Nisbet (No. 43).

🔼 The Bronco “Gothlete.” Junior Nora Hayd went viral in late 2024 as Boise State's goth beach volleyball player, landing interviews with The New York Times and The Today Show, and the recognition hasn't faded. Off the court, the visual arts major channels her signature aesthetic into drawing and painting with a self-described "horror" vibe at Boise State's Center for the Visual Arts. Hayd says the creative freedom of beach volleyball and art-making are more alike than people might think, and envisions a future in marketing and digital design after graduating in spring 2027.
