🔼 Time to Clinch. Boise State women's tennis enters a pivotal weekend tied for first in the Mountain West, with a chance to clinch the regular-season title outright if they go 2-0 while UNLV and San Diego State both go 0-2. The Broncos (ranked No. 52 nationally) visit Air Force this morning at 10 a.m. MT before returning home to face New Mexico on Saturday at 11 a.m. for their home finale. Zdena Safarova, the conference's most decorated active player with six career weekly awards, headlines a lineup defending its 2025 Mountain West Tournament championship.

🔼 More Than a Visit. For Boise State beach volleyball seniors Lily Patock and Elli Wolthuis, college life came with an unexpected twist: both of their families eventually packed up and moved to Boise. What started as surprise phone calls turned into weekly team dinners, mom hugs for homesick teammates, and front-row seats for every home match. Wolthuis ranks third all-time in program history with 75 career wins, and Patock eighth with 66. With senior day on the horizon, the No. 19 Broncos have their eyes on an NCAA tournament run and a Big 12 title.

🔼 Senior Send-Off. No. 19 Boise State beach volleyball closes out its home slate this weekend at the Boise State Beach Bash, facing South Florida (today, 1 p.m. MT), Florida International (today, 5 p.m.), No. 11 Grand Canyon (Saturday, 12:30 p.m.) and Washington (Saturday, 4:30 p.m.) at the Boise State Beach Volleyball Complex. All matches are free and open to the public. The Broncos carry a 24-dual home winning streak into the weekend, the fifth-longest active streak in the nation, after going undefeated at the Boise State Beach Classic last weekend. Eight seniors will be honored after Saturday's final home dual, including Ava Anderson and Addison Wolden, who set the program record with 35 career wins as a pair.

🔼 Best of the Week. Boise State men’s golf senior Cole Rueck earned Mountain West Golfer of the Week honors for the second time this spring after shooting 211 (-5) to tie for second at the UC Santa Barbara Intercollegiate, marking his seventh top-10 finish of the season and 17th of his career. Boise State next competes in the third annual Battle of Idaho against Idaho on April 20-21.

🔼 On Track. Boise State track and field fans have plenty to follow this weekend: the Broncos split between the Texas A&M 44 Farms Team Invitational and the NNU Open in Nampa, with MW Field Athlete of the Week Raekwon Weatherspoon leading a loaded lineup in College Station. Check out the full event schedule.

🔼 What’s Next. Madeline Cooke's time as a center on the women's basketball team taught her to pivot, transition quickly, and always keep her eye on the win: skills she's now taking off the court as she finishes her MBA and heads into a career in human resources.
