Good Morning, Bronco Nation! Boise State men's tennis rallied from losing the doubles point to defeat Nevada 4-1 in a road MW match, Saturday. Carson Baker clinched the win at No. 2 singles as Boise State won its 10th straight match and improved to 18-4 overall and 4-0 in conference. Trailing 1-0 following doubles, the Broncos needed to win four singles matches, and they did just that to claim the victory.
Lukas Velik won his 20th match of the season, tied with Baker for the team-high. James Van Herzeele collected his ninth straight singles win to make him 14-1 this spring.
Idriss Haddouch won his team-best 12th consecutive match and the 17th of the year; he is 12-1 in singles this spring. He also reached this impressive milestone: ππΌ

πΌ Wasnβt In the Card. Boise State lost 18-13 to No. 15 Stanford in a back-and-forth nonconference softball game, Sunday. The Broncos (28-15) led 11-7 after four innings, but did not hold the lead against the potent Cardinal (29-8) offense.
The two biggest swings of the day for the Broncos came from freshmen Makenzie Butt and Quinn Southerland. Butt drilled a three-run double in the second to tie the game 4-4 and scored a go-ahead run courtesy of an RBI-single by Sydney Groves. Southerland capped a six-run fourth with a three-run home run to put Boise State on top 11-7. Stanford answered with six in the fifth and five in the sixth to regain the advantage at 18-11.
