Good Morning, Boise State 4/14: Winning Championships
Plus: Senior Day up next.
Good Morning, Bronco Nation! Boise State Esports dominated Ohio State 2-0 at HyperX Arena to win the program's first ever title in Valorant! The Broncos were nearly flawless, jumping out to a 10-2 lead in map one before closing it 13-4, then rolling through map two in similarly dominant fashion.

Marshall Hainer was named series MVP and coach Kelsey Moser took home Valorant Coach of the Year honors. With four of six roster players returning next season, Boise State will chase history as the first program ever to defend the PEC Valorant title.

📈 STOCK UP
🔼 Going Pro. Boise State senior Cole Rueck is heading to the PGA TOUR Americas after finishing tied for second at Qualifying School, shooting a 13-under 275 across four rounds at Soboba Springs in San Jacinto, California. Rueck was the only amateur in the 150-plus player field to earn full exemption for the 2026 season, carding rounds of 70-69-67-69 while tying for the best front-nine scoring in the entire event. The Corvallis, Oregon native's pro career begins as he's already having a standout senior season: two individual championships and six top-10 finishes in nine team tournaments.
🔼 Senior Day. Senior Day is coming for Boise State men’s tennis! Come on out to Appleton Tennis Center on Saturday at 11 a.m. MT to celebrate Idriss Haddouch and Taiyo Kurata.
🔼 Year 2. Spencer Ahrens is back in the fold for men's basketball next season. As a freshman, he averaged 4.9 points and 2.3 rebounds on 44.1 percent shooting in 32 games.
🔼 Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to Boise State track & field’s Addy MacArthur, John Dailey, Alix Mund, and Shawn Jones for earning Bronco Athletes of the Week, as selected by the coaching staff!
