🔼 The Home Court Advantage is Real. Boise State women's tennis concluded its regular season with its sixth consecutive victory, defeating Utah State 4-1 Thursday afternoon at Appleton Tennis Center.

The win also marks an undefeated home record (13-0) for the Blue and Orange this year, marking the fourth time in program history the Broncos (16-5, 7-3 MW) have finished a season with an unblemished mark on their home courts.

🔼 Living On the Ledge. Boise State Athletics announced all 44 loge boxes, a new premium seating area within the North End Zone at Albertsons Stadium, have been sold. Construction began in January, which will add approximately 1,600 premium seating options, and is on track for completion prior to the 2026 football season.

A limited number of ledge seats remain available and offer a very similar experience to loge boxes. Ledge seats feature individual rolling chairs, flexible leg room and a ledge for food and beverages in addition to other amenities.

🔼 Defending the Home Court … Again. Idriss Haddouch's three-set victory at No. 5 singles secured a 4-1 victory over the Air Force Falcons Friday night. The win clinched a share of the MW regular-season championship as the Blue and Orange men’s tennis team remained undefeated in conference at 5-0 and improved to 19-4 overall. Boise State won its 21st consecutive home match and remains undefeated at home during the last two seasons.

James Van Herzeele won his 10th consecutive singles match, giving him 78 in his career, tying him for 16th all-time. He is 14-1 in spring duals. Carson Baker won his fifth-straight singles match and the 21st of the season, a team high.

🔼 Softball Spices It Up. Watching Boise State softball is already fun, but the squad has added some extra entertainment this weekend: 👇🏼

🔼 Mak On the Move. Boise State freshman Makenzie Butt moved up to No. 9 in this week's D1Softball First Base Player Power Rankings. Butt leads NCAA freshmen with 18 home runs and 63 RBI. The RBI total is a Boise State single-season record. She ranks fifth nationally in RBI overall and her home runs are tied for sixth. She is also in the NCAA top 10 for RBI per game (1.50) and home runs per game (0.43).

🔼 Bauer Blanks Aztecs. Freshman Olivia Bauer tossed a four-hit shutout and the Boise State softball team defeated San Diego State 9-0 in six innings, Thursday night. Bauer struck out three, walked one and needed just 73 pitches for her first-career shutout.

Five Broncos (29-15, 8-6 MW) collected two hits, including Leah McAnally. The sophomore catcher's two-run home run sealed the run-rule win. Freshman Makenzie Butt added to her Boise State single-season RBI record with a run-scoring ground out in the first.

🔼 Prepped ‘N’ Ready. Boise State volleyball has been busy preparing for the 2025 fall campaign this spring. Like every team in its offseason, the squad has been working out since January, improving skills, conditioning and teamwork, while assimilating a pair of early freshman enrollees.

The team is currently practicing 20 hours per week and competing on the weekends in exhibition matches. To date, the team has played three scrimmages over the last three Saturdays.

🔼 Bolstering the B-Ball Roster. Boise State men's basketball has signed forward Spencer Ahrens (6-9, 215 pounds), a four-star forward from Ontario, Canada. A top-30 power forward in the nation, according to ESPN and 247Sports, Ahrens joins the Broncos after receiving numerous offers from prominent Division I institutions.

Boise State has also agreed to terms and signed senior guard Dylan Andrews. Andrews (6-2, 180 pounds) joins the Broncos after spending the previous three collegiate seasons with UCLA. He appeared in 100 games (61 starts) for the Bruins and averaged 7.5 points, 1.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists while shooting 39.6 percent from the field.

🔼 That’s a Wrap. The Boise State women's golf team concluded its 2024-25 campaign with a sixth-place finish at the Credit Union 1 Mountain West Championship, carding a team score of 902 (+38). Teal Matsueda notched a career-best eighth-place finish, tallying a 223 (+7). Hannah Lim capped her career with an 11th-place mark, scoring a 224 (+8).
