Good Morning, Bronco Nation! Advancing to the quarterfinals of the inaugural College Basketball Crown tournament, Boise State (25-10) will play Butler (15-19) this evening. Airing live on FS1 and KBOI 670 AM, tip off between the Broncos and Bulldogs is set for 5 p.m. MT.

In the opening round of the tournament, featuring 16 teams from seven different NCAA conferences, the Broncos collected a 30-point victory, defeating George Washington, 89-59.

🔼 Wolf ‘N’ Allen on the Map. Boise State beach volleyball's Avery Allen and Abbie Wolf have been named the Southland Conference Pair of the Week. The award marks the second consecutive week a Bronco pair has taken home the honor, after Allyson Alden and Sharli O'Neil earned the award a week ago.

Allen and Wolf, who are each recipients of the honor for the first time in their respective careers, went 3-0 at the Utah Beach Classic over the weekend. The tandem opened the weekend with two victories from the No. 4 position, first defeating Oregon's Kamilah Checani and Isabel Patterson, 21-17, 21-12, before taking down Utah's Elle Burleson and Kylie Pitzak, 21-14, 22-20.

🔼 Staying Hot On the Hot Corner. Boise State freshman Makenzie Butt continues to be ranked among the nation's best first baseman, according to Softball America. The reigning Mountain West Freshman of the Week, Butt is ninth nationally in Softball America's position power rankings.

Butt ranks nationally in home runs (tied third, 16), home runs per game (fourth, 0.46), RBI per game (sixth, 1.49 per game) and RBI (sixth, 52).
