Boise State Athletics has received a $1 million anonymous donation from a member of the Boise State University Foundation Board, with the majority directed toward the North End Zone Project, AD Excellence Fund, and football program. The gift brings the Lyle Smith Society, a philanthropic giving program launched in December 2020, to 321 members.

🔼 Back-to-Back. Boise State women's tennis freshman Carla Grignac has earned her second consecutive Mountain West Freshman of the Week award. Grignac helped close out the regular season with a 6-1 doubles win over Utah State alongside partner Lorelyz Marruffo. The Broncos enter the Mountain West Tournament as the No. 2 seed, opening against the Nevada/Colorado State winner tomorrow at 11 a.m. MT in Las Vegas.

🔼 All-Mountain West. Four Boise State women’s tennis players earned All-Mountain West honors! Tereza Polakova, Masa Viriant, Allison Isaacs, and Zdena Safarova earned All-Singles, while Polakova and Safarova were also named All-Doubles.

🔼 Champs of Idaho. Boise State men's golf successfully defended its Battle for Idaho title, shooting 17-under 835 to beat Idaho by 16 strokes at Hillcrest Country Club, the largest winning margin in the three-year history of the event. Gavyn Knight stole the show, carding an 8-under 63 in the opening round, which marks the lowest single-round score of his career, before closing at 8-under 205 to win the individual title by four shots. The Mountain West Championship is next, set for May 3-5 in Tucson.

🔼 Chasing a Championship. No. 3 seed Boise State men's tennis opens Mountain West Championship play tonight at 6 p.m. MT in Las Vegas against No. 6 New Mexico, a team the Broncos edged 4-3 on March 29. A win sends the Broncos to Friday's semifinal against the winner of No. 2 San Diego State and No. 7 Air Force. Stewart Aronson and Carson Baker lead the team with four match-clinching wins each this season.

🔼 All-Mountain West. Boise State men's tennis placed three players on the All-Mountain West Singles team: Stewart Aronson, Carson Baker, and Avery Tallakson. Baker and Tallakson also earned All-MW Doubles honors as a pair

🔼 Running Into History. Boise State track and field had three new entries into the program’s record books! Brian Kiprotich posted the second-fastest time in program history in the men’s 10,000m at 28:43.38, while Christian Graham finished close behind in 28:57.27, good for the sixth-fastest time in program history. Alex Thompson earned the third-fastest time in program history in the men’s 1,500m at 3:40.52.
