Good Morning, Bronco Nation! Boise State beach volleyball head coach Allison Voigt was named the Southland Conference Coach of the Year. Additionally, four of the Broncos' five pairs were named to one of the league's two all-conference teams, and Allyson Alden was also named the SLC Newcomer of the Year.

Voigt was named the SLC Coach of the Year for the first time in her career after leading the program to its first regular season championship in program history. She led the Broncos to a 19-10 regular season finish, and extended the program's home-winning streak to 20 contests, a streak that dates back to the 2021 season.

🔼 The Upper Hand On the Sand. Boise State beach volleyball will look to capture its first SLC Championship trophy at the SLC Beach Volleyball Championship. The Broncos (19-10, 8-0 SLC) will begin the three-day double-elimination tournament this morning at 11 a.m. MT against the winner of No. 8 New Orleans and No. 9 Nicholls State. 
 
The Broncos enter the conference championship having played their best beach volleyball of the season, having won 15 of their 16 matchups. The run includes a nine-game winning streak – the longest streak in program history – and a 5-0 performance at the Boise State Classic to improve the program’s home-winning streak to 20, a number that stretches back to the 2021 season.

🔼 Round-Trippers Reporting For Duty. The Boise State softball team wraps up the nonconference portion of its schedule, hosting Idaho State for a single game, April 23...final Mountain West road series of the season follows at San Jose State, April 25-27.

For the second time in school history, four players have reached double-digit home runs...Makenzie Butt (20) leads the way followed by Mykenzie Hanna (16), Brooklynn Pettis (13) and Sydney Groves (10).

🔼 No Luck Of the Irish Needed. Boise State Athletics and locally-based Harmon Travel, an Official Travel Sponsor of Bronco Nation, invite Bronco fans to join the team in South Bend, Indiana, for the first football game between Boise State and Notre Dame on Oct. 4.

🔼 Take a Ganter At This. Boise State has announced the signing of transfer defensive back Derek Ganter Jr., who spent two seasons at Eastern Washington. Ganter will join as a redshirt sophomore after being named to the Phil Steele Freshman All-America first team and All-Big Sky second team in 2024.

Ganter led the Eagles with 95 total tackles last season, including 55 solo stops. No other player on the roster had more than 60 total tackles or 25 solo tackles. A native of Pasadena, California, Ganter also earned FCS All-Freshman honors from Football Central and Stats Perform.
