Good Morning, Boise State 4/22: Talent in Tennis, From A to Z

Zdena Safarova earned her fourth MW Player of the Week award following victories in singles and doubles in the regular season women’s tennis finale against Utah State.

Good Morning, Bronco Nation! Zdena Safarova earned her fourth Mountain West Player of the Week award following victories in singles and doubles in the regular season finale against Utah State. Her four MW Player of the Week honors are the most by any player this season, and she is the only one in the conference who has earned the award three or more times.

The No. 4 seeded Broncos will begin competition in the quarterfinals of the Credit Union 1 2025 Mountain West Women's Tennis Championship against No. 5 Fresno State. The match is set for this Thursday, April 24, at 3 p.m. MT.

The team won its fifth conference regular season title since 2009 (the first year they competed for regular season championships), fourth during the MW era, and the second straight.
