🔼 Own the Blue. To mark the 40th anniversary of its iconic blue turf, Boise State Athletics has launched a limited-edition collectibles line and auction, featuring items crafted from the actual field turf before it's replaced in mid-June. Auction highlights include a full fan cave carpet installation, the blue turf 40-yard line, and the "2" from the 20-yard line honoring Ashton Jeanty. Immediate-purchase items include turf swatches, tungsten rings infused with blue turf fragments, and a limited-run stadium art print (only 2,026 available). A new field will be installed in time for the season opener vs. Memphis on September 12. More details here.

🔼 Making History. Boise State redshirt junior Leia Chung made program history at the Mountain West Women's Golf Championship, firing a 5-under 211 to win the individual title, becoming the first Bronco to claim a conference golf crown since Shawna Seiber won the Big Sky title in 1993. Chung's 54-hole total is the best conference championship score in program history, anchored by a second-round 68 that is the lowest individual round at a conference championship in school history. The win was her third of the season, breaking the program record, and her fourth career title, tying the all-time mark. Her victory automatically qualifies her for NCAA Regionals on May 11-13, with the selection show set for April 29 on Golf Channel.

🔼 Playing for the Championship. Boise State men’s tennis continued its march through the Mountain West Championship, sweeping second-seeded San Diego State yesterday. With the win, the Broncos advance to today’s conference championship finals at 5 p.m. MT from Las Vegas.

🔼 Moving On. Boise State women's tennis swept Nevada 4-0 in the Mountain West Tournament quarterfinals yesterday in Las Vegas, clinching the doubles point in under 25 minutes before Paula Schaefer, Tereza Polakova, and Carla Grignac each won in straight sets to seal it. Grignac extended her winning streak at No. 6 singles to 11 straight, tied for seventh-most in a single season in program history. The Broncos advance to face No. 3 UNLV in today’s semifinals at noon MT, a rematch of last year's championship match.

🔼 A Family Affair. Freshman hurdler Chase Lawyer is the latest in a remarkable multi-generational Boise State track and field family. His father Kerry was a Big Sky champion in the early 90s under legendary coach Ed Jacoby, still holding the program's top mark in the 100 meters (10.21). His uncle David earned six conference championships from 1988-90, his aunt Tracye won the 1999 national heptathlon title at Bronco Stadium, and his cousin Asia currently plays soccer for Boise State. Chase, who originally signed with Idaho before a coaching change brought him home, already has the fifth-fastest mark in the program in the 60-meter hurdles as a freshman and has contributed to two relay teams that rank among the top four all-time.

🔼 On Track. Boise State track and field hosts the second annual Ed Jacoby Twilight today at Ed Jacoby Track at Dona Larsen Park, with field events beginning at noon MT and primetime track events at 5:35 p.m. The meet honors legendary former coach Ed Jacoby, who led the Broncos for 23 years (1973-96) and earned conference coach of the year honors 10 times. At last year's inaugural event, Boise State set the facility record in the women's 4x100-meter relay and posted top-five program marks in two other events.

🔼 On to the Next. Boise State beach volleyball dropped both pool play matches on day one of the Big 12 Championship in Tucson, falling to No. 1 Florida State and No. 4 South Carolina by identical 4-1 scores. The Broncos' bright spots came from Keira Demirjian and Serena van der Made, who won at court three against Florida State, and Allyson Alden and Addison Wolden, who took court one in a three-set battle against South Carolina. Boise State enters Friday's single-elimination bracket at 10 a.m. MT on ESPN+. The Broncos remain in contention for an at-large NCAA Championship bid.
