🔼 And the Oscar Goes To… The Boise State football team has announced the addition of transfer punter Oscar Doyle, who spent the 2024 campaign at Weber State. Doyle will join the Broncos after being named one of 10 semifinalists for FCS Punter of the Year.

Doyle appeared in all 12 games during his lone season in Ogden, averaging 44.4 yards per punt. This ranked second in the Big Sky, 11th in the FCS and is the fourth-best single-season mark in Weber State history. He punted 47 times for 2,089 yards, with 20 punts landing inside the 20-yard line and 13 traveling over 50 yards.

🔼 Save the Last Dance. The Boise State men's tennis team received an at-large bid to the NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Championship and will face 11th-ranked California on Friday at 2 p.m. MT. This is the third-consecutive year that the Blue and Orange will compete in the national tournament and the 21st time in program history.

The 2025 Mountain West Regular Season Champion and 42nd-ranked Broncos will open with the regional host school for the third consecutive year, traveling to Berkeley, Calif., to face the Golden Bears. The winner will meet the winner of the No. 34 UC Santa Barbara versus No. 22 UCLA match on Saturday at 2 p.m. (MT). All contests will be held at the UC Berkeley Hellman Tennis Complex.

🔼 Save the Last Dance, Part Deux. The Boise State women's tennis team will travel to Austin, Texas, to face Baylor in the first round of the 2025 NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Team Championship. The Broncos enter the tournament on a nine-match winning streak and became the first team seeded No. 4 or lower to win the Mountain West title since 2010.

Boise State (20-5) will take on Baylor (20-5) on Friday, May 2 at 9 a.m. MT. The match will be hosted by No. 14 seed Texas who opens against Grand Canyon.

🔼 A Homecoming. Defensive tackle Braxton Fely has withdrawn his name from the transfer portal after realizing that Boise State is home.

🔼 Ahmed’s Very Good Day. ICYMI! Defensive end Ahmed Hassanein made history as the first Egyptian to be selected in the NFL Draft, taken 196th overall as a sixth-round pick for the Detroit Lions.
