🔼 Happy Birthday, The Blue. Boise State is celebrating a major milestone in 2026: the 40th anniversary of the iconic blue turf at Lyle Smith Field at Albertsons Stadium, first installed in 1986 at the direction of then-athletic director Gene Bleymaier. To kick off the yearlong celebration, Boise State unveiled a special anniversary logo designed by the in-house graphics team, featuring nods to the Boise foothills, the Idaho state flag and the number of blue turfs installed at Albertsons Stadium over the decades. More anniversary festivities are planned throughout the spring and summer.

🔼 Up Next. Boise State women's golf closed out the regular season with a seventh-place finish at the Cowgirl Classic in Maricopa, Arizona, posting a season-best 874 (+10) for the tournament. Leia Chung tied for 13th at even-par 216, her team-best sixth top-25 finish of the season, while Callia Ward tied for 25th at 219, highlighted by one of just four eagles in the entire field. Brooke Patterson carded a season-best 70 (-2) in the opening round. The Broncos head next to the Mountain West Championships on April 21-23 in Rancho Mirage, California.

🔼 How Sweep It Is. Boise State softball’s Marissa Gonzalez was unstoppable yesterday, going 4-for-6 with three home runs, seven RBI and five runs as Boise State swept a doubleheader at Utah State, 11-6 and 13-2. The Broncos (20-23, 6-8 Mountain West) launched six home runs total, with Talia Jenkins adding a career-high four RBI in game two and Kodi Crabtree recording her first collegiate save to close things out. Boise State has now won seven straight against the Aggies and heads to nationally ranked Grand Canyon for a two-game series beginning tomorrow at 8 p.m. MDT.

🔼 Staying Home. Boise State men’s hoops’ freshman Julian Bowie will be back in the blue and orange next season. Bowie appeared in eight games last season.

🔼 To Nationals. We’re sending good luck to the Mane Line dancers as the squad heads to Daytona for NDA Nationals!
