🔼 Strokes of Genius. Led by Luke Cushman and Cole Rueck, who shot a combined 17-under par, Boise State men’s golf landed the win at the UC Santa Barbara Gaucho Invitational on Tuesday.
 
As a team, Boise State shot 841 (-23) and concluded the tournament 21 strokes ahead of second-place University of Denver. Four of the five participating Broncos shot under par, with four posting top-10 finishes.
 
Claiming victory for the first time in his career, Cushman fired a 207 (-9), his lowest total as a collegiate student athlete. He now has four top-25 finishes in his career, including three in the top 10.

Boise State's two-meet weekend was highlighted by Joe Hudson's record-breaking performance in the 10,000-meter. Hudson finished in 28.23.68, more than 20 seconds faster than the previous record. Emily Stefan came in first in the long jump at the Stanford Invite with a jump of 5.92m.
