🔼 Fever Pitch. Boise State soccer head coach Jim Thomas announced its 2025 schedule, and season tickets are now available to purchase.

The Broncos will play 11 of their 20 regular-season matches at the Boas Soccer Complex and will host the 2025 Mountain West Soccer Championship for only the second time in program history. They earned the right to host after being named the 2024 MW Regular Season Champion.

The squad will begin its season with three-straight away matches, beginning at Idaho State (Aug. 17).

🔼 He’s a Lock. The Boise State football team announced the signing of transfer wide receiver Demetric Whitlock Jr. from Hutchinson Community College. Whitlock appeared in six games during the 2023 campaign, catching three passes for 31 yards. The Blue Dragons finished the year with a 10-1 record and a berth in the NJCAA Semifinals.

A native of Monroe, Louisiana, Whitlock attended Neville HS and Franklin Parish HS. As a junior at Franklin Parish, he led the team with 403 yards and four touchdowns on 21 receptions. He also added a team-best 189 kick return yards.

🔼 Food For Thought. The American Sports and Performance Dietitians Association (ASPDA) announced today that Samantha Wade, Boise State assistant athletic director for performance nutrition, was recognized with the ASPDA Outstanding Early Career Achievement Award. The honor recognizes a sports dietitian with two to six years of experience in sports and performance nutrition who displays an outstanding commitment to excellence and professional growth.

Wade joined the Boise State Sports Performance, Health and Wellness department in September 2021 and currently serves as an assistant athletic director of performance nutrition for all 18 sport programs, with an emphasis on football.

🔼 Run it Back. The only thing better than the MW Outdoor Championships weekend is reliving it.
