🔼 Tickets Punched. Eight different Broncos punched tickets to the NCAA postseason on Thursday.
Landon Helms secured his spot at the 2025 Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Eugene, while seven of his teammates qualified for 2025 Division 1 Outdoor Track & Field Championships West Preliminary Rounds.
The West Preliminary Round will be held May 28-31 in College Station, Texas, and the 2025 Division 1 Outdoor Track & Field Championships are scheduled for June 11-14 in Eugene, Oregon.
Helms, the 2025 Mountain West men's decathlon champion, earned direct qualification to the national championships with a score of 7673, the 19th highest in the country.
The top 12 finishers in each individual event and the top 12 relay teams from each preliminary round will advance to the championships.

🔼 Class Acts. There was plenty of success in competition for Boise State student-athletes this spring.
That success wasn’t limited to just their respective sports as the Broncos set another record during the 2025 spring semester by establishing an all-department cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.46, the highest GPA in department history.
The Broncos also turned in an all-department single-semester GPA of 3.39, which is the best spring semester in department history.
As a department, all 18 sport programs secured a 3.0 GPA or higher, 87% of all student-athletes earned a 3.0 GPA or higher, and 70 student-athletes secured a perfect 4.0 GPA.
Three sports programs established GPA milestones. Women's basketball set a team record with a 3.82 cumulative GPA, the second best in department history. Football set an all-time single-semester record with a 3.22 GPA which translates to 81% of football student-athletes receiving a 3.0 GPA or higher and volleyball tied their record with a 3.55 cumulative GPA.

🔼 Fresh Faces. After a spring season in which the Boise State men’s tennis earned its highest ranking since 2014, the Broncos are already bulking up for next season.
On Thursday, head coach Luke Shields announced the addition of two transfers, Stewart Aronson from Clemson and Avery Tallakson from New Mexico, who will be both juniors.
Aronson comes to Boise State after two seasons at Clemson, where he had a combined singles record of 28-22 and a doubles mark of 25-17. The native of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, was a two-time Canadian junior national outdoor singles champion in 2018 and 2019 and reached the doubles final in 2019.
Tallakson is transferring to Boise State from Mountain West rival New Mexico, where he played for two seasons. The native of Danville, California, compiled a 35-17 singles record and a 30-22 doubles mark. This past spring, he went 17-2 at No. 6 singles and 13-5 at No. 3 doubles. He also went a combined 4-0 against the Broncos in two duals. In three matches at the MW Championship, he went a combined 6-0 (3-0 in singles and 3-0 in doubles), earning tournament MVP recognition and all-tournament honors in both singles and doubles.
