Senior outfielders Mykenzie Hanna and Megan Lake, senior pitcher Brook Thompson and junior third baseman Hollie Farmer each earned the honor.

🔼 We Like Him a Lott. Boise State EDGE Jayden Virgin-Morgan was selected as one of 42 players on the 2025 Lott IMPACT Trophy Watch List. The trophy is presented annually to the nation's top defensive player who makes an IMPACT (Integrity, Maturity, Performance, Academics, Community and Tenacity) in both character and performance.

Virgin-Morgan is the only player from the Group of 5 on the Watch List. He is the first Bronco to be named to the Watch List since Kekaula Kaniho earned the distinction prior to the 2021 season.

🔼 Has a Nice Ring to It 💍. ICYMI! Rings for the back-to-back Mountain West champions were revealed this week. QB Maddux Madsen took the time to show the painstakingly cool details that went into the rings.

🔼 Beck’s Bronco Boost. Boise State women's tennis has signed Tereza Polakova to its 2025-26 roster, head coach Beck Roghaar announced.

After two seasons at Kansas State, Polakova is headed to the Treasure Valley with valuable experience in the highly competitive Big 12 Conference, which sent seven teams to the 2025 NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Championship a season ago. During her time in Manhattan, Kansas, Polakova picked up 32 singles victories and 25 doubles wins.

🔼 Beefing Up the Back Line. Boise State Head Soccer Coach Jim Thomas announced the addition of Siena Zunino to the 2025 roster. Zunino – a defender – is transferring from the University of Utah with three years of eligibility remaining.
 
The native of Danville, California, spent her freshman campaign with the Utah Utes, playing in two matches for a combined 75 minutes last fall. A 2024 graduate of Monte Vista High School in Danville, Zunino was an East Bay League All-Conference Second Team honoree. The defender was also a U16 ECNL Northwest First Team selection and earned a spot in the 2023 Continental Tire ECNL National Selection game.

📱 FROM THE A.D.

After a decade of serving as General Counsel for Boise State University, Matt Wilde will join Boise State Athletics as the Senior Associate Athletic Director, Legal Affairs & Governance/Senior Counsel for Athletics.

In the newly created role, Wilde will manage legal affairs for the entire athletic department, review contracts and agreements, assist the recently-launched BroncoPRO department, and serve as an advisor to all strategic initiatives. He will also be a member of the Leadership Team.

Boise State student-athletes set another record during the 2025 spring semester by establishing an all-department cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.46, the highest GPA in department history. The Broncos also turned in an all-department single-semester GPA of 3.39, which is the best spring semester in department history.
