Good Morning, Boise State 6/17: The Countdown to Kickoff is ON
72 days. That’s all that’s standing between you and Boise State football.
Good Morning, Bronco Nation! 72 days. That’s all that’s standing between you and Boise State football. You’ve probably waited longer for your passport to come in the mail.
In honor of this countdown, we take a look back at the 2010 Boise State football season, in which the Broncos scored a total of 72 touchdowns.
In the 2010 college football season, the Boise State Broncos had a record of 12-1. They were co-champions of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) with a conference record of 7-1. They were invited to the Maaco Bowl Las Vegas, where they defeated Utah, 26-3.
The Bleacher Report wrote of the 48-point blowout over San Jose State from 2010: “Boise's domination was so severe that the Broncos had the games two leading passers (Kellen Moore and Joe Southwick), top four leading rushers (Doug Martin, Matt Kaiserman, Joe Southwick and Titus Young), and the game's three leading receivers (Young, Martin and Austin Pettis).”

🎉 TRIVIA ANSWER
Answer: 50!
Kellen Moore finished his Boise State tenure with a 50–3 record, making him the winningest starting QB in FBS history—a record previously held by the Longhorns’ Colt McCoy (45 wins). Moore led Boise State to an undefeated regular season in 2009 and a Fiesta Bowl victory in 2010.
