Good Morning, Boise State 6/20: Tales From the Tackle Box

Boise State offensive tackle Kage Casey was named to Phil Steele's Preseason All-America Fourth Team.

Good Morning, Bronco Nation! Boise State offensive tackle Kage Casey was named to Phil Steele's Preseason All-America Fourth Team. The redshirt junior, who earned All-America honors from five outlets in 2024, is the only player from the Mountain West featured on the list.

Last season, Casey was tabbed second team All-America by The Athletic and Walter Camp. He earned third team honors from College Football Network, fourth team selection from Phil Steele and honorable mention from Sports Illustrated. The left tackle registered a 99.3 Pro Football Focus blocking efficiency, ranking third among FBS offensive tackles. He did not allow a sack in 440 opportunities, anchoring a unit that averaged 1.07 sacks allowed per game, 12th-fewest in the nation.

๐Ÿ“ˆ STOCK UP

๐Ÿ”ผ Okay, So Hereโ€™s the Pitchโ€ฆ Itโ€™s a painstaking process to get the pitch worthy of a Division 1 level of play, and Boise State soccer is ensuring this happens.

๐Ÿ”ผ Letโ€™s Get Real. A lot of changes have been happening in college sports, so thereโ€™s no better time to launch this Coachesโ€™ Round Table (starting today!).

๐Ÿ”ผ Itโ€™s About Freedom. Yesterday, we took the time to celebrate Juneteenth, also known as Juneteenth Independence Day, commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and offering support in the ongoing battle for equal rights.

๐Ÿ”ผ Tracking History. A cow pasture-turned-football-field-turned-track, the University of Oregonโ€™s historic Hayward field was built in 1919 and recently renovated. It has been the home of legends since its inception, and hosted more USA Olympic Track and Field Trials and NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships than any other venue.

To watch our Broncos bring their best during the NCAA Outdoor Championships on this landmark of a stage was something to behold.
