🔼 Call it Her Comeback. Boise State's Leia Chung capped off a historic 2025-26 season with the Kim Moore Spirit Award, becoming the first Bronco to ever earn the honor since its 2005 inception. The award, presented by the Women's Golf Coaches Association, recognizes spirit toward the game, a positive attitude, and mental toughness, all fitting for a redshirt junior who missed the entire 2024-25 season due to injury before returning to win the Mountain West individual title, qualify for an NCAA Regional, and set a program record with three individual titles in a single season.

🔼 Local Star Comes Home. Boise State men's golf coach David Trainor has landed a homecoming signing in UCLA transfer Trevor Garus, a Boise native who will join the Broncos as an incoming junior. Garus spent his first two collegiate seasons with the Bruins, posting a season-low 1-under-71 twice in 2025-26 and a career-best 3-under-69 as a freshman in 2024-25. Before heading to UCLA, Garus won the 2023 Idaho State Amateur Championship, was named the 2023 Idaho Player of the Year, and qualified for the U.S. Amateur in back-to-back years.
