Good Morning, Boise State 6/24: The Writing's On the Wall
The 2025 Phil Steele Preseason All-Mountain West teams were announced, as Boise State led the conference with 13 first team selections and 18 total honorees.
Good Morning, Bronco Nation! The 2025 Phil Steele Preseason All-Mountain West teams were announced, as Boise State led the conference with 13 first team selections and 18 total honorees.
Quarterback Maddux Madsen, running back Sire Gaines, wide receiver Latrell Caples, tight end Matt Lauter, center Mason Randolph, guard Roger Carreon and tackle Kage Casey represent Boise State's offense on the first team.
Defensively, EDGE Jayden Virgin-Morgan, defensive tackle Braxton Fely, linebacker Marco Notarainni, cornerback A'Marion McCoy and safety Ty Benefield secured first team honors. Long snapper Mason Hutton rounds out the first team picks for the Blue and Orange.

🔼 Spirit Squad Goals. Boise State Athletics announced that Erik Lindgren has been hired as the new Spirit Squad head coach for the Broncos, which includes cheer, dance, and mascot programs. More than 60 students make up the squad, including cheerleaders, Mane Line dancers and mascot Buster Bronco.
A graduate of Boise State, Lindgren served for two years as a graduate assistant while completing the Master in Sports Leadership program. He spent the last year at the University of Colorado as the Spirit Squad's Assistant Director.

🔼 That’s All She Wrote. Dani Bayes is ready to turn the page, and it’s no wonder she’s ready for what’s next after achieving the stats below during her junior season: 🏀 👇🏼
Started in 23 of the 33 games she played…averaged 9.1 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game…scored in double figures in 15 contests, including a 21-point performance against Wyoming on Feb. 18…hit three or more 3-pointers in seven contests…recorded five games with 5+ assists.

CBS Sports and the Pac-12 Conference today announced an extension of their partnership which is set to begin with the 2025 football season. The extended partnership will continue with the league’s transformation and begin with the new Pac-12’s launch ahead of the 2026-27 season and carry through the 2030-31 season.
