🔼 Bumps, Books ‘N’ Broncos. Boise State's volleyball team has been honored by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) for its success in the classroom over the 2024-25 academic year. For the seventh-consecutive year, the Broncos have been named an AVCA Academic Team Award winner. The Broncos achieved a team GPA of 3.47 during the 2024-25 academic year.

This is the seventh-straight year and the eighth time in the last nine that the Broncos have earned this accolade.

🔼 Bumps, Books ‘N’ Broncos, Beach Edition. The Boise State beach volleyball program earned the American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award Honor Roll distinction. The recognition is given to beach volleyball programs that represented the top 20% of GPAs nationally.

The honor comes on top of the program earning the AVCA Team Academic Award for the seventh consecutive season, and eight of the last nine seasons. To earn the award, the entire roster must combine to maintain a 3.3 cumulative GPA for the entire academic year. For the 2024-25 academic year, Boise State accumulated a 3.75 cumulative GPA.

🔼 The Team That Does It All. The Boise State women's tennis team earned its 11th consecutive Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team Award, while six individuals were named ITA Scholar-Athletes. The Broncos posted a 3.61 GPA during the 2024-25 academic year to earn the team honor, collecting the award for the 19th time in the past 20 seasons.

Individually, six Broncos were recognized as ITA Scholar-Athletes for holding a grade point average of at least a 3.5 during the 2024-25 season. Ariadna Briones Ginesta, Maya Dutta, Ryan Kershner, Paula Schaefer, Bhakti Shah and Masa Viriant each received recognition.

🔼 Courting Academic Success. The Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced the winners of the 2024-25 ITA Academic Scholar-Athlete Awards Monday. Among the recipients were three Broncos: Taiyo Kurata, Adam Duda and Dylan Jaen. All three recorded GPAs of 3.5 or better for the past year (fall and spring semesters) to earn this accolade.

This year's three honorees bring the program's total of ITA Scholar-Athlete Awards to 10 during the first three years of Coach Luke Shield's tenure.
