🔼 101 Dalmatians Scholars. The Mountain West announced 101 Boise State student-athletes were named to the Spring 2025 Academic All-Mountain West Team.

Four women's sport programs led the way: women's track & field had 22 selections, followed by gymnastics with 15, softball with 13, and women's basketball with 12. These sports were followed by men's track & field with 11, women's tennis and women's golf with seven each, and men’s basketball with six. Men's tennis and men's golf each had four selections.

These student-athletes contributed to the highest cumulative grade point average (GPA) in department history with a 3.46 at the conclusion of the 2025 spring semester.

🔼 Fielding Hoops Opportunities. Associate Head MBB Coach Mike Burns had nothing but stellar things to say about Georgetown transfer Drew Fielder.

“He brings a combination of skill and size and toughness to our program,” Coach Burns said. “In addition to all that, he’s inserted himself as a leader.”

Started all 31 games played as a sophomore … Averaged 7.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.0 assists while shooting 46.3% (82-for-177) from the field … Totaled 220 points, 168 rebounds and 30 assists … Scored in double figures five times and had one 20-point effort … Recorded two double-doubles and had three games with 10 or more rebounds.
