🔼 What The Blue Means. As Boise State celebrates the 40th anniversary of The Blue, the program turned to some of Bronco Nation's most devoted fans to capture what the iconic turf means to them. For twins Melissa and Michelle, The Blue has been the backdrop for engagements, a 40th birthday party on the 40-yard line, and a family tradition of sending every newborn grandchild home in the same Boise State onesie. For superfan Richard Phillips, it means 35 jerseys on his wall, hundreds more in totes, a Bronco tattoo over his heart, and just four missed home games in 33 years. Their stories reflect a community bound together by loyalty, family, and the one-of-a-kind spectacle that put Boise State on the map.

🔼 Welcome to Boise. Boise State softball added right-handed pitchers Tori Dahnke and Abby Edwards for the 2027 season. Dahnke was named District 18-5A Pitcher of the Year as a senior at Crosby High School in Texas, going 13-2 with 196 strikeouts as a junior. Edwards posted a 35-9 record with a 1.76 ERA across four years at Snohomish High School in Washington, fanning 698 batters.
