Good Morning, Boise State 8/11: Once a Bronco...
Boise State Athletics announced an alignment between BroncoLife and Varsity B to create a seamless transition from student-athlete to alumnus, reinforcing the theme "Once a Bronco, Always a Bronco."
Good Morning, Bronco Nation! Boise State Athletics announced a new alignment between BroncoLife and Varsity B to create a more seamless transition from student-athlete to alumnus, building upon the theme "Once a Bronco, Always a Bronco."
BroncoLife centers its programming around three key areas: personal growth, community involvement, and career development. Year-round, student-athletes engage in workshops, service projects, and networking opportunities designed to support and empower them on and off the field.
🗣 "When we say we're committed to an elite student-athlete experience, we mean every part of the journey.” - Jeramiah Dickey, Boise State Director of Athletics.

🔼 They Rocked the Boat. From the Bronco WBB’s Greece Travel Journal:
Without having discussed it personally with everyone, I am confident in stating that Saturday’s excursion was unanimously everyone’s favorite day of the trip. There was one item on the itinerary for Saturday: three-island boat cruise. And that was all that was needed.
The team had two concerns before the outing 1.) the 8 a.m. departure time and 2.) a couple unnamed players (Mya Hansen and Tatum Thompson) were concerned about sharks in the water.
We arrived early on the three-story cruise ship so that we could claim our seats early.
Game faces 😀

🔼 Greece Lightning. Another day, another BLOWOUT victory in Athens. In case you were wondering, this Boise State women's basketball team is talented. The biggest question mark coming into the season would be how a team featuring seven newcomers would gel together, and the most significant takeaway out of the two games was the overall togetherness of the group (more on that later). Fans are going to have a fun season within the confines of ExtraMile Arena this upcoming year!

🔼 News Fron the Watch Tower. Boise State tight end Matt Lauter earned recognition on the Mackey Award Watch List. The award is presented annually to the nation's most outstanding tight end. Lauter is one of 46 players on this year's list, joining Wyoming's John Michael Gyllenborg as the only representatives from the Mountain West.
The redshirt senior is the first Bronco since John Bates to be selected to the watch list. Bates, who is entering his fifth season with the Washington Commanders, was featured on the watch list three-straight years (2018-20).

🗣"Built on the BLUE is more than just a workout—it's a powerful way to bring our community together in support of Bronco women's athletics," said Jen Bobodzhanov.
