👀 McCoy, Virgin-Morgan Tabbed to Prestigious Watch List
🔷 And much, much more!

🔼 The McMorgan Train Has Left the Station. Boise State defensive standouts A'Marion McCoy and Jayden Virgin-Morgan were tabbed to the Chuck Bednarik Award Watch List. The award is presented annually to the most outstanding defensive player in college football. This is the first time multiple Broncos have been selected since 2015, when safety Darian Thompson and STUD Kamalei Correa were recognized.
Boise State is the only program from the Mountain West and one of 23 teams in the country with multiple selections. This is the fourth-straight season the Broncos have been represented on the watch list, a streak that began in 2022 with Scott Matlock before continuing with DJ Schramm (2023) and Ahmed Hassanein (2024).
🔼 The Journalopolis. From the Boise State WBB Greece Travel Journal:
Collectively, we cannot believe this was our sixth day in Greece. After our first initial day of getting acclimated, it feels like we’ve been going nonstop with activities, excursions and games for the past five days. Time truly flies when you're having fun.
By design, the pace of our sixth day was much slower. The departure time was set for 10 a.m., so the team utilized a well-deserved late morning (good PR for slept in extremely late). One staff member, however, academic advisor Eric Kile, woke up early and made the 10-minute walk to the base of the Athens Acropolis to view the sunrise from the historic setting.
This is the #RunTheDamnBall episode. 🤣
