📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Debut Dazzler. What a way to start a college career! Freshman Campbell Wilson scored twice and added an assist in her collegiate debut, powering Boise State soccer to a 3-0 season-opening victory over CSUN. Wilson opened the scoring in the 22nd minute off a Sophie Schmautz pass, set up Olivia Collins' goal before halftime, then buried her second of the night in the 54th minute. The Bronco defense did the rest, limiting CSUN to a single shot in the shutout.

🔼 B1 Feature: Building Your Brand. Boise State soccer players Tambree Bell and Ava de Leest are showing what NIL is really about! The duo attended AthleteCon, a three-day NIL convention in Las Vegas, learning to develop their personal brands alongside athletes from across the country. Bell has built an audience of over 18,500 Instagram followers and 87,600 on TikTok, while both Broncos emphasize partnering with local Treasure Valley businesses.

🔼 Thorpe Territory. Boise State's Jaden Mickey is on the list for the nation's top defensive back honor! The fifth-year corner earned a spot on the Paycom Jim Thorpe Award Watch List. Mickey made an immediate impact in his first Bronco season, starting 11 of 13 games while posting 38 tackles, seven tackles for loss, five pass breakups, and two forced fumbles. The former Notre Dame transfer has also collected Preseason All-Pac-12 first team honors from Phil Steele and Athlon Sports!

🔼 Course Set. Boise State cross country has its 2026 roadmap, and it includes a historic first! Head coach Pat McCurry announced a schedule opening with the Roy Griak Invitational on Sept. 18 in Minneapolis, followed by split-squad action at the Dr. Thad Scholes and Nuttycombe Invitationals on Oct. 9. The headliner: Boise State hosts the 2026 Pac-12 Cross Country Championships at Warm Springs Golf Course on Oct. 30, the program's first championship event as a Pac-12 member. The NCAA West Regional and NCAA Championships await in November!

🔼 First Look. Today’s First Look features sophomore forward Spencer Ahrens. The Ontario native appeared in all 32 games as a freshman last season, averaging 4.9 points and 2.3 rebounds per game on 44.1 percent shooting from the field.

🔼 New Role. Boise State men's basketball has a new assistant coach, and it’s a familiar face! Head coach Leon Rice announced that Matt Charles will transition to the role of assistant coach while continuing to oversee day-to-day operations of the program. Entering his fourth season with the Broncos, Charles has been part of three straight 20-win campaigns, with Boise State winning exactly two-thirds of its games since his arrival. Taking on a bigger coaching role last season, Charles helped the Broncos rank first in the Mountain West in rebound margin!
