Good Morning, Bronco Nation! This is your 🚨 two-week notice 🚨 until the Boise State football team’s home opener at South Florida in Tampa. Yesterday, we announced 20,664 season tickets sold for Albertsons Stadium, and we’ve officially surpassed last year’s ticket sales.

As Coach Spencer Danielson tweeted about the update, “Let’s go!!!!! Bronco Nation is the best in the Country!!! 23,000 is the goal!!!”

🔼 In a Nutshell. Associate Head Coach Mike Burns knows Boise State MBB player Pearson “Peanut” Carmichael’s offensive skills are spot on, but this summer, Coach has a newfound respect for his ability to defend the hoop.

“When you think of Pearson Carmichael, you think of his shooting ability and his offensive ability, but it’s the things he’s doing for us defensively, and rebounding-wise, especially this summer, that are really remarkable,” said Coach Burns.

Here are some of Carmichael’s stats from last season:

Averaged 6.9 points and 2.5 rebounds while shooting 42.6% (55-for-129) from the field and 31.6% (25-for-79) from three ... Nabbed first 20-point game of his career and set career highs in points (21) and three-point field goals (4) versus New Mexico (Feb. 19) ... Named Mountain West Freshman of the Week following his performance against the Lobos.
