Good Morning, Boise State 8/7: The Next Man Up

Read our B1: Feature: “The New Stable of Boise State RBs”

Good Morning, Bronco Nation! Welcome to the A.J. Era: After [Ashton] Jeanty.

Replacing 2,601 rushing yards by one person is not a common offseason goal. The only other time a Division I FBS team had to replace a rusher who ran for more than 2,600 yards in a season was Oklahoma State in 1989. The year prior, Barry Sanders ran for an NCAA-record 2,628 yards (2,850 yards including the bowl game). Sanders, who won the Heisman Trophy in 1988, had 344 rushing attempts in the never-been-replicated season. No other Cowboy running back had more than 47 carries.

🔼 Dear Diary. “After spending the majority of Tuesday in the high skies, Boise State women’s basketball touched down around 11 a.m. local time on Wednesday. Following an hour drive into the city, the team checked into its hotel smack dab in the middle of downtown Athens. With no team activities scheduled in the afternoon, the team explored the city in groups. Below [click the tweet above] are eight observations from our experience from the first two days of the international tour.”
