🔼 B1 Feature: The Blue: Inspiring Fields Across The Nation. Forty years after Gene Bleymaier made the bold call to install blue turf, The Blue has become one of college football's most recognizable icons, and it opened the door for others to follow. This week's B1 Feature looks at three programs that took the leap, from Central Arkansas' purple-and-gray "Stripes" to Luther College becoming the first Division III school to install blue turf, to New Haven's blue and gold. Each of them had to get a license from Boise State first, and each credits the Broncos with proving the idea could work. The seventh iteration of The Blue debuts tomorrow against Memphis at 4 p.m. MT, complete with orange hash marks honoring Kellen Moore and Ashton Jeanty.

🔼 Fast Start, Clean Sheet. Boise State soccer needed less than two minutes to get going last night, as Campbell Wilson pounced on a ricochet from Mia Lane to open the scoring in a 2-0 win at Cal State Bakersfield. Wilson struck again in the 72nd, placing one into the upper-right corner from outside the box to complete her second brace of the season. Her opener came at the 1:44 mark, the fastest goal to start a match in program history since 2021. Ava de Leest made a season-high six saves for her fourth shutout of the year, tying her for seventh in program history with 10 career clean sheets. The Broncos have now won three straight.

🔼 Wall of Blue. Boise State volleyball opened the Boise State Invitational with a 3-0 sweep of Sacramento State at ExtraMile Arena, owning the net from start to finish. The Broncos piled up a season-high 13 blocks to the Hornets' five while hitting .333 as a team on 39 kills. Kendall Hastings and Amelia Hansen each posted eight kills, with Hastings adding eight blocks and Hansen seven. Tehya Maeva ran the offense with 19 assists, and Savannah Sheridan anchored the back row with nine digs. Next up is Saint Mary's tonight at 6 p.m. MT.

🔼 Ten Tournament Fall. Boise State men's tennis has released a 2026 fall schedule featuring 10 tournaments, opening at the ITA Men's All-American Championships in Tulsa Sept. 19-27. Stewart Aronson, Arsene Pougault, Filip Soderqvist, and Avery Tallakson were selected by the ITA to represent the Broncos. Boise State hosts the annual Dar Walters Classic at Appleton Tennis Center Sept. 25-27 before heading to San Francisco for the Battle in the Bay Classic. The Broncos also make their first Pac-12 Conference Tournament appearance Oct. 23-25 in Spokane.
